this is my reading list:

The Glass House by Jeannette Walls
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway
The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce
Catch-22 by Joseph Heller
Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell
Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut
As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner
White Oleander by Janet Fitch
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
Blink by Malcolm Gladwell
Stranger In A Strange Land by Robert Heilein

I started Catch-22 near the end of August, but I stopped reading it because of the amount of school work I had. I'm going to finish reading it the second my last final is over because of what I read so far - it's an amazing book.

hey - this is good stuff! i thought of you when i put up CLOCKWORK ORANGE and when i added some guy named CLOCKWORKBUDDHA ha ha. and another one made me think of you but i forget which one...

say - if you post these as linkables, i can add them on MADLINK101 - or i can do it later - no rush at all - all is well and good

my reviews:

The Glass House by Jeannette Walls - important one i never read
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald - fun and numb
A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway - i think i never read this - important
The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway - nice but didn't spark a fire in me
A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce - too complex for me now
Catch-22 by Joseph Heller - oh yeah - also saw alan arkin in the movie
Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell - a pillar in my library for some reason
Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut - his "masterpiece" yet i love others more!
As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner - never read
White Oleander by Janet Fitch - extremely familiar - never read
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen - unknown
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas - i got the book as boy, never read?
The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne - yes, very important yet boring
Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë - i LOVED this, w/moby dick and tale of 2 cits
Blink by Malcolm Gladwell - never read, this is supposed to be awesome! - ?
Stranger In A Strange Land by Robert Heinlein - not sure if i read, caused a lot of hippies to have babies, so i heard - it feels like i read it cuz it reminds me of a song - i did like heinlein a lot though, but not TOO a lot

ok - i must rest - ta ta :)
