rent this movie

a friend said this is a fantastic movie: "The Painted Veil" (Naomi Watts, Edward Norton). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446755/   It looks like something i'd love - i like those kinds of movies, esp. if they're GOOD but don't have MAJOR stars.  I'd watch it with her but i don't have free cellphone minutes.  OK ? - do it!

and dot dot dot - OMG - i had no idea how good beer is at relieving poison ivy!  I feel great now - all that dehydration - oh yes.  So I'm ranking it up there with my other treatments like sunbathing (it burns it up) and benadryl and DHEA and tea tree oil and caffeine and sleeping in a refrigerator.

common treatments: calamine lotion (which is a pain in the neck), oatmeal baths (which make me want to eat myself), and jewelweed (which is a plant that actually hangs out with poison ivy).

But i did get too drunk on just a few beers cuz i've been doing so much benadryl.  You could have date raped me if you wanted to.  ok - on to your next friends post ...

yayayay! you really will like it. like i empathized with edward norton's character so much. the ending almost seemed like poetic justice. if you watch it i'll explain why i think that. but yes. rent it. it's phanomanal. (i totally spelled that wrong.)

i like how you spelt it - it sounds like 'fan mail' or 'fun animal'!

ok - i'm looking forward to it - i'm feeling it might be like 'the notebook' or something - but maybe more dramatic

i hope you have a great summer katie

i dunno - i was pulling wees and some other kind of stingy weed and it made my arms red - and thn maybe by stupid body said "that's a lot like poison ivy - good enough - i know what to do now..." - and then it went back to it's poison ivy reaction - which always happens around the eyes/face. (no jk) or else i really did come across some poison ivy and when i wiped sweat off my forehead, it affected my face. my face is good now - kind of nice looking actually so maybe i might go out - but my arm is acting up again this morning

no - i haven't seen it yet - but i think i will soon

but i had the most incredible movie dream last night - it was the most amazing dream i have ever had in my life

Just another reason to stay inside ;-). Did you win the lottery? Was poison Ivy actually Uma Thurman? Do tell!

how did you know i'm crazy for uma?!?!

well - ok - the main thing about it was that it was so incredibly hi-tech - all these 3d effects and transformations and colours

it started with my family, then i went to see a movie, and watched it all the way through, but when it was over, reality was just as crazy, and i swore than i was really drugged, so i watched it over again carefully, and the same amazing things happened, and i couldn't get out of the movie

it's hard to remember - but i was in some weird surreal magical place - Robert Di Niro was the main ruler of the place. OMG - i remember these two babes got down to it together and invited me in. And i was also outside this building yelling up to peeps in various windows. the whole building was covered by a sheet of plastic. about every five or ten minutes i had to travel through an iris (eye) to keep going - that was some kind of commercial. and people would transform into other things or people. except everyone in this land was weird, and they would burst with this yellow stuff or vomit it out - it was kind of a nightmare too. i ended up vomiting once - bright yellow, and then at the end you'd be coughing up popping-corn that went popping everywhere like bullets, or if you laughed at the end it would all be rice. the whole thing was about trying to find reality again, but it was like through-the-looking-glass. but then i would be watching scenery, sometimes form a train apparently, and it was the most beautiful natural and precise scenery - VERY REAL - and this is what i decided i wanted - this beautiful sweet nature. but next thing you know i'd be having to deal with more surprises.

it all had to do with the beer and benadryl and cfs and poison ivy. the last time i had such colourful dreams was in the early days of my cfs - but they had nowhere near the complicated plot-line or EXACT visuals. i swear to god - it was also one of the most amazing movies i've ever seen!

thanks for asking - i wish i remembered more cuz man i could make millions off the screenplay!

I have never seen that movie but I may check it out one day.
I have never had poison ivy but my brother one had something similar after being in contact with something while walking in the forest. His face and eyes swelled up and he looked so awful. Lucky the ointment the doctor gave him cleared it up in a week. Definetly a plant to avoid.
