my Saturday so far as consisted of playing Wii, watching bad tv and smoking some w**d...so yeah I can answer this:)I grew up in NC -around the Chapel Hill area; I love Chapel Hill and it's def a college town b/c NC State & Duke are right down the street. Open-minded for sure. Climate is hot in summer/cold in winter/and fairly warm in the spring. It's a very friendly town; I've lived in nyc, southern ca,and now south Florida and no one beats the friendliness of the nc peeps.:) as far as expensive; not really, but there are (of course) really expensive areas just like everywhere else. If you haven't been I would DEF visit!!!

hey girl

thanks!

and i hope you added my 3 other personalities

your night isn't really too dif to mine yo

well - i have visitted chapel hill and raleigh - i like the former better

i really did like the friendliness of chapel hill too

very very quaint - and while friendly, a conservative and slower pace which might be good for me as a writer

when i visitted though, the thing that i noticed was it didn't have a REAL lot of places to go - and was less crazy than madison - i like crazy

but who am i kidding - that would prolly be better for me at this point

thanks - it's nice to hear that from someone who's been around - and i know you've travelled a bit

I highly recommend Portland. The climate is mild (if a little wet) but it's one of the most relaxed and friendly cities I've ever been in. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and the whole time I was in Orgeon (in Portland, Salem, Eugene, and all up and down the coast) I had a fantastic time, talked with strangers, didn't know what to make of how friendly and helpful the cops were.

I dunno. That's my two cents.

Pittsburgh is a dump - I recommend you avoid Pennsylvania altogether.

ha ha ha - thanks!

yes - portland is so tempting - and so progressive environmentally and "civilly" - although not as much socially - depending on where you live

i've always liked the idea of oregon and portland

the great thing about the west is the positive can-do attitude - like australia - but some places in the west weird me out cus they are just too openly loopy - i think portland prolly has that in check

i live in philadelphia for a year or two and it was a unusaul experience - but i did pass through pittsburgh a lot - it's not as bad as it used to be - but there seemed to be this pedophelia thing going on - i later learnt that there are too many peeps in there 20's there - so i guess they go after the teens - i dunno - pittsburgh isn't high on my list

thanks so much

I love Los Angeles, but its not a college town at all and it can be expensive in certain areas.
I also really like San Diego, but I've only visited it.

om - it's been so long since i've heard from you!

i hope things are cool

i've been to san diego too - i love the climate and the people - although a little white-bread - i'm not sure if it's drivable to LA

i haven't really been to LA - so spread-out - but a lot to offer - one thing is career opportunities in acting - which I might consider

thanks babe!
