First of all - this whole concept of death - I am very much against it.

But I am SO proud of my killer-dog Husky, who just killed a mousie! It was on my bed earlier - a grandchild of Mr. Mouse, and I almost caught it with my left hand. Then I just sat here on LJ for a while, as big raucus party noises and crashes streamed though my window, and I was thinking life is stupid, then suddenly I hear Kurska, aforementioned dog, jumping and scraping all of the sudden. Luckilly it didn't scare me, cuz if it did it would have hurt my CFS. But I went over to see her, and she was sniffing away at the mouse creature that she had sent off to that big cheese ball in the sky. So, hey, she finally has earned her keep!

doggie

Well - I don't think of her as big, although most other people do - cuz I've had bigger dogs. But she is furry and beautiful. Her name is her original name. She's purebred. I don't like changing animals names.

And no it had nothing to do with Kursk the Russian submarine.

Re: doggie

Re: thankie

Yes. Not in the bestiality sense, which would be the obvious joke. But yes I do like animals - and wilderness/wildlife. I've always trained our dogs. You?

Re: thankie

Petrified of animals. Can't go near them, any of them. Never played with animals after our huge dog (who's dead now btw) scared the shit out of me when i was about 5. Ha Ha Ha.

I love dogs.

Poor mouse, oh well.
My cousin has a Husky, he's so pretty.
I grew up with Irish Setters my whole life.
Figures haha. My family is so Irish.

My Irish Setter we have now is named Aiden, it means fire.

Re: I love dogs.

Ah - Irish setters are SO noble and... um... expensive, so I don't have one. But I'd like to. I'd also like an Irish Wolfhound - which are SOMEWHAT more related to the wolf, but not as much as Huskies of course. I like labs of course, and basset hounds, and so forth, for their dif. characters. But I have mostly enjoyed the lassie/white-fang/rin-tin-tin mixes in the past. That's so wonderful to have grown up with Irish setters!!! And Aiden is a fine name - always liked that name!

No - he never eats anything he catches - and he doesn't catch much. But he rally foams at the mouth if it's a snake. It's really wild to watch.
