another one bites the dust

My sadness registers at the passing of the legendary jazz musician, Chick Corea.  You live long enough, and you see all the good people, everyone, disappear.  That this concentration of bones and dust once made jazz for an eager world.  And it's all gone now.  Gone the way we shall each go, alone, and ultimately forgotten.  What was jazz?  Why did it matter?  Goodbye, another vain traveller.  Because that is all we have. Grasping at life for one brief instant. It's sad we cannot love each other more in light of this absurdity.
