I must take a wife, who shall bare me a midriff...

I have watched the first four hours of, "The White Princess," and might try watching the remaining four - despite my neck being sore from twisting to see the screen whilst in bed.  This is a miniseries dramatisation of the life of Elizabeth of York. (Not Lizzie # 1, a Tudor). Versus Henry VII and the Tudors. Two conniving mothers and an aunt in France are the ones starting all the wars. Lizzie of York was the mother of Henry 8; a queen of France, and Mary, Queen of Scots, one of my favourites.

I didn't mention it, but I recently saw the movie, "The Zookeeper's Wife," a great historical movie about a couple who sheltered 300 Jews in the Warsaw Zoo during WW2.  If you love animals, romance and heroism, but hate war and NAZI's, you must see this.  Made almost entirely by women.  (Both these works were based on novels - as was, "Winter's Tale").

Presently, I am boiling up a batch of chicken for the dog's supply...  3:pm dinner always = dry dog food, wet dog food, a bit of chicken, and some veggies.  He loves kale but hates spinach.  Other than tolerating a little tomato, he prefers all the cool-climate veggies - kale, broccoli, cabbage, etc.  Cuz he's a northern dog.
