Homeless man who was savagely beaten cries before dying with his dog by his side
A 'mild-mannered' homeless man who was viciously beaten as he slept shed tears before he died in hospital with his dog by his side.
Juan Sebastian from Arcadia in Florida, suffered serious brain injuries following the unprovoked savage attack as he slept rough in a park two weeks ago.
The 69-year-old was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and during his final moments his loyal dog Cheeto was brought in to be by his side...
“He never regained consciousness. But still he, I kind of thought he was there because I would talk to him and he would squeeze my hand and his blood pressure would shoot up.”
Recalling the moment before her "mild-mannered" friend died, she said: “They brought the dog up to hospice. And we laid him on the bed.
"Cheeto laid his head on Juan's hand it was the weirdest thing because tears started coming out of Juan's eyes."
