How about that - my internet finally works...

It's very humid here - along w/ high temps. I had wine today and my only accomplishment was at the end of the day: I re-watched Slumdog Millionaire. I have to say, this really is one of the greatest movies of all time. Yes? I forgot about the dance at the end, so I was pleasantly surprised. Plus it is a great piece of MX, which I use in mixes. Boyle is an Irish name - hmmm... I've seen other great movies w/ Dev Patel: "The Road Within," "Lion," etc. "Lion" has some similarities to Slumdog, involving Indian slums, trains, and searching to find an important female. They threw in what's-her-name...?! just to make that movie officially Australian.

I am possibly going shopping Friday. That means a greater-than-normal amount of wine lately.

I can't open my fridge because it is not coping with the weather. All this air-conditioning is getting pretty expensive. But I am happy that my dog no longer has to suffer another tortuous summer. Neither of us is in danger of heat-death any longer. "God is great!"

That's another thing about the movie. Serendipity. Coincidence. Magic. Origami. Brought out in the midst of chaos. That's what makes it true.
