In all these years, I have never gone to Wikipedia to read about LJ. Which I did today. So interesting. Lots of it is nostalgia - like the DDOS attacks, and the pedophilia thing, and the selling-off, which seems to never end. Some of it is known, but some of it is interesting if not surprising.

Read about LJ!

From this entry, I found out a few things, like the President of Russia had an LJ - and has made comments about LJ's unfolding future. You might not be able to access him anymore, since his LJ/community stopped in 2014 - who knows why, ehem. But maybe you could intrigue him by messaging in English. His community is/was - http://blog-medvedev.livejournal.com/profile - and the two top moderators were - http://blog-d-medvedev.livejournal.com/profile (probably him) and http://moderator-1.livejournal.com/profile. Voice your discontent, over whatever - oh yeah - like we are now all Russians.

And hey! Check out all the known WRITERS who use LJ! - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LiveJournal_users - (I've got a few more but not available right now).

Wow. Didn't know LJ was owned by a Russian company and falls under Russian law.

Amazed that its actually been blocked in some countries too lol

Its strange, you don't think of a site like this causing that much.. drama. But then you don't know how others use it I guess?

Great comment.

u r right!

I found it funny how some Russian guy was complaining how LJ users were hatefully attacking him. LOL - this is how so many LJ user just are! LOL!

I mean - usually LJ drama is kept INSIDE LJ - but yo, when it goes public - haha..

(I love and hate LJ users for this).
