World Cafe - 1993 and now.

Last night, NPR's, "World Cafe," zoomed in on LIZ PHAIR - especially her famous 1993 album, "Exile in Guyville." In fact, they decided to devote the entire two hours of the show to 1993. And I was amazed! So much of my favourite music comes from that year?! I don't know why. It was a stellar year for Indie music - and also for other expressive music and grunge... Liz Phair, the Cranberries, Mazzy Star, Bjork, Belly, U2, Nirvana, Sting, Sarah McLachlan, Counting Crows... What a great time! And I don't know why! And it wasn't like I was entirely in the moment, because I didn't turn on to some of 1993 music, like Liz Phair, until the next millenium! But, yeah. So, I decided to list it for you - and let you listen... AND MORE...
