I recently made a post or posts which included this area.
I don't know where the extra gas may be coming from HOWEVER...
I think there is a general effusion of methane from beneath the planet. I continue to entertain the dream that Cheney deliberately caused the BP oil disaster, over some tussle with Obama over IRAN. But it may just as well have been due to global rising methane. Such is related to the increase of increasing sinkholes.
