I tried to read this from the point of view of the cheating person. Many do not recognize themselves as such since our system encourages behavior as near the boundaries of legality and morality as possible (Sort of like the NSAs definition of "relevance.") So a lot of people might say, well, that's good advice for cheats, but i am not a cheat (remember Nixon's "I am not a crook.")

But there is also a lot of evidence that if we are reminded that we can behave better than we do, we will behave better. I want to be trusted, but if i am untrustworthy, eventually, no one will trust me.

I think you are quite correct.

For many degenerated Republicans, they only listen to such info if it is coming from someone close to them(!) But perhaps my generalisation is too restrictive, ha ha.
