PURE HELL: Church play vilifies gays, abortions
BJ Pringle, a 26-year-old insurance investigator from Winnellie, NT, went to the Saturday performance put on at the Potters House church in Casuarina, not realising until arriving that it was a church because the ads didn't mention it, reports the NT News. "(The event) was extremely offensive to both me and my friends," he said. "After, the film said homosexuals were taking over the world, and the world better prepare," Mr Pringle said. This reminds me of a "King of the Hill" episode where Hank's attempts to make a neighbourhood haunted house were opposed by one of the fundamentalist biddies in the 'hood. (I miss that show.)

I "hated" that show for the longest time and then suddenly got addicted to it! That episode seems familiar to me. I was also recently remembering what a great series, "Malcolm in the Middle," was.

I liked "King of the Hill..." it was never mean, like "Family Guy" often is. The world needs less mean.
