When the three of us (Erik and his girlfriend Khala and I) pulled in Sheetz tonight (about 8:00PM), the weather was beautiful. Wasn't cold nor windy. A few minutes later (while waiting for Khala's mom) to arrive and pick her up, comes a strong gust of wind. If you are aware of the red trash can in sheetz gas station, the thing did not move but the flaps were loud and swinging. Unbelievable. I had to cut short my conversation with Cece when she definitely arrived for I don't want to be caught in the middle of a storm going back home. Erik and I felt the coldness. No rain tho. Just the very strong wind.
Then it only lasted for a few minutes.

"one strong gust is very unusual. (how does someone prepare/dress for that!) maybe it was a relic of the hurricane-force winds in CA and NV last week."

It was definitely unusual. I normally bundle up (nowadays) especially when I have to drive. My vehicle heater still needs to be re-checked. So, I actually have my windows down a little to avoid and minimize fogging my windows and windshield. The reason I opted for no snow yet!
